The road to Chidiatapu passes through a forest reserve. It is highly recommended to leave Chidiatapu by 6:00 PM. Driving back in the dark can be tricky due to the narrow winding roads and lack of streetlights in the forest stretch. Also, please note that swimming is strictly prohibited here due to deep waters and crocodile sightings in the past.
